collaboration between staff members involved is the greatest value that we can be proud of. To localize a product, we may have to translate as many as several million words.

Obviously, this much volume cannot be translated by a single translator. Even if a good translator is included in such a large project team, the skill level of the entire team may be low.
To improve translation quality, translators and editors with excellent skills and with expertise in a certain field have to give helpful information or knowhow to the entire team and share such information with each other.

I think that translation is a service business. A translator is similar to a chef.
