Characteristics of Localization |
| Under the slogan "Quality Serves as a Second Sales Rep," we
have established an in-house quality assurance system under which more than 100 staff
members including in-house translators, editors, and proofreaders collaborate with each
other. In-house translators share customer information and exchange their translation
knowhow with each other to help improve translators' skills. Past information assets are
accumulated through knowledge management so that customers' needs can be fully satisfied. |
With 110 licenses for using TRADOS, a translation support tool, we respond
adequately to translation and localization needs that require translation memory control
and a large volume of translation. This tool allows the use of all translation assets and
maximizes cost-effectiveness.
It also allows translators to use the same, consistent terms and expressions in the same
document or throughout related documents, and satisfies customers in terms of quality,
cost, and delivery time.

Localization into Four Asian Languages |
We also localize English products for use in Japanese, Mandarin Chinese,
Taiwanese, and Korean. With the recent rapid economic development in China, the demand for
localization of products into Mandarin Chinese has been growing.
